Join us in our upcoming 8-day retreat in the beautiful town of Taghazout, Morocco! Relax, let loose and have fun! We offer yoga, surf classes and acroyoga classes during these 8 days, along with other fun activities such as visiting beautiful waterfalls, riding horses or camels and exploring other nearby Moroccan towns! 

Your daily yoga and acroyoga classes will be guided by 2 experienced teachers Amanda and Sean, who not only will help you improve your practice but who will ensure your safety and fun! Each day you will also have the opportunity to learn how to surf and catch some waves with a professional surf instructor. Yoga, Surf and AcroYoga are the perfect activities that complement each other to help you get strong and flexible! As well as to help you find balance on the mat, surfboard or even on another human!

  • 8 days / 7 nights

  • For all yoga and surfing levels: beginners, intermediates & advance

  • Date: April 20 - 27, 2019 


  • 6 days of 1 hour sunrise, sunset, acro yoga at the beach or rooftop terrace

  • 6 days of surfing lessons with professional surf instructor (2hrs of coaching and 2hrs of self practice under the care of the instructor)

  • Daily transport to the best surf spots according to the surf conditions

  • Several cultural activities in between (ex. visiting nearby towns, sightseeing, camel / horseback riding, visiting the waterfall)

  • Full board meals, mineral water, accomodation and transportation in Morocco

  • Yoga & surfing equipment and materials included (i.e. yoga mat, surfboard & wetsuit)

  • Not included: your flight tickets, tips, personal purchases and other extra activities that you can do on your own.


Below is the schedule that we will have for this retreat which may slightly change based on the weather, logistics and other unforseenable events.


DAY 1: Arrive in Marrakesh in the morning and get transported directly to Taghazout.


DAY 2-7: Yoga, surf, acroyoga, eat, sleep and then repeat (plus additional activies)


DAY 8: Leave early in the morning at 4:00 from Taghazout to Marrakesh (about 3 hour drive) and catch our plane at 9:00

Accommodation & Food

Our main destination is Taghazout (near Agadir). Most of us will arrive from Marrakesh where we will get picked up and transported directly to our accomodation there in Taghazout.

You will be sharing a twin room with a person. If you’re coming as a couple you can request for a double bed. You can also request for a private room or an upgrade to a suite that come with additional cost.

Meet Your Yoga Teachers

Amanda Quiambao

Amanda has many passions with movement. It first began with the flow arts, where she found freedom in expressing herself through dance, with the hula hoop and poi. She learned how to cultivate energy through the classical long style of Tai Chi from her father, a master in martial arts. Diving more into flow and movement, Amanda began her yoga journey with Rocket Yoga in 2013. The dynamic practice became her passion, where she found stillness of the mind through complex asana. In 2014, Amanda decided to change her life and move to the beautiful city of Barcelona, where she continue a daily Mysore practice of Ashtanga Yoga. Apart from studying asana, she discovered her love for philosophy and meditation throughout her travels in India.


Amanda is a certified Level 2 Rocket Yoga Teacher with over 250 hours of training. She also regularly assists Rocket Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Trainings with her mentor David C. Kyle. This passion for yoga has also led her to dive deep into the world of acrobatics. She is a certified Partner Acrobatics teacher, teaching Inversions, AcroYoga and Standing Acrobatic workshops. Every day she likes to dedicate her time to mindful movement, as she believes it is a means for a full expression of self. Amanda loves to constantly learn and share her knowledge by expanding minds and helping people break out of their comfort zone.

Sean Palit

Sean started his yoga journey when he joined YOGABODY 6 years ago as a marketer. At that time, he thought yoga was only for the already flexible people and it didn't seem too challenging enough. Of course, he was far from the truth on this. You don’t need to do the splits or put your legs over your head to show that you’re good at yoga. And yes, yoga is very challenging to the point where you will sweat and get a full on workout for your body as well as for your mind. He learned that yoga is all about progressing at your own pace without any judgement towards yourself. Soon after experiencing the benefits of yoga, Sean became fully dedicated in incorporating yoga to his busy life. 


Never had he imagined that yoga would have transformed his way of life. So he decided to become a yoga teacher to share these benefits and supporting others on their personal development through yoga. Sean has been teaching yoga in his previous yoga retreat, private classes as well as at YOGABODY studios in Barcelona and finished his yoga teacher training by the end of 2018. His goal is to offer yoga retreats that are more than just for stretching, relaxation and meditation, but an experience where you are challenged physically and mentally while at the same time experiencing new cultures and adventures for personal growth.
